Release hatchlings at Kokomo

Friday the 25th of November 2022 a nest at San Juan hatched, but there were still about 50 hatchlings left in the nest that did not come out. In order to ensure better survival chances for this lot, our volunteers and field coordinator planned the release on the very next sunset. The San Juan area unfortunately closes before sunset therefore an accessible and open location was needed and Kokomo provided the best option for these babies to crawl into the big wide sea.
